As a member of our team at Finlaw, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between innovative financial technology and evolving legal frameworks. Your primary responsibility will involve editing raw podcast recordings, including interviews, intros/outros, and ads. You will be tasked with removing background noise, filler words, silences, and distractions to ensure a seamless listening experience. Additionally, you will mix and master the audio to meet professional-quality standards. In this role, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity by adding intro/outro music, sound effects, and transitions to enhance the overall production value of the podcasts. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with hosts and producers to align with creative and publishing goals. Consistency in audio branding and quality across episodes is essential, and you will be instrumental in maintaining these standards. The ideal candidate for this position would have at least 2 years of experience in podcast or audio editing. Proficiency in audio editing software such as Adobe Audition, Audacity, Descript, or Reaper is required. A strong understanding of EQ, compression, leveling, and noise reduction techniques is crucial for delivering high-quality audio content. Familiarity with remote recording platforms like Zencastr, Riverside, or SquadCast will be advantageous. Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage deadlines effectively are essential traits we are looking for in potential candidates.
