Role/Job Title: Project Manager – Loan Business Function/Department: Retail & Rural Banking / Lending Operations Job Purpose To lead and manage projects related to Loan Business portfolios, ensuring growth, compliance, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. The role requires planning, execution, and monitoring of loan initiatives, with a focus on business expansion, digital adoption, and team management. Roles & Responsibilities Project & Business Development: Plan and execute loan growth strategies for Loan Business . Identify new business opportunities, markets, and customer segments. Drive acquisition of new clients and strengthen the loan portfolio. Operational Excellence: Monitor loan processing, documentation, and disbursal activities. Ensure adherence to compliance, credit, and risk policies. Streamline loan approval and delivery processes for efficiency. Team & Stakeholder Management: Lead and mentor project/branch teams to achieve sales and operational targets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Credit, Risk, Collections, and Digital). Build partnerships with external stakeholders (DSAs, channel partners, etc.). Customer Service & Retention: Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality. Resolve escalations promptly and build long-term client relationships. Promote digital adoption and self-service channels for loans. Reporting & Analysis: Track loan book performance, NPAs, and yield on portfolio. Prepare and present project performance reports to senior management. Analyze data to identify trends and make business recommendations. Managerial & Leadership Responsibilities Lead, coach, and groom teams for achieving business objectives. Develop performance-driven culture through training and motivation. Drive innovation in lending processes and cross-sell opportunities. Education Qualification Graduation: BA/BCom/BSc/BE or equivalent. Preferred: MBA/PGDM in Finance, Banking, or Project Management. Experience 5 to 10 years of experience in Project Management within Banking, NBFC, or Financial Services. Strong exposure to Home Loan and Business Loan products, sales, and operations. Knowledge of credit policies, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance. Experience in digital lending platforms will be an added advantage.
