About Us We’re an IIT Delhi and BITS Pilani alumni and building Finewerk.io — an AI-native platform for electronics manufacturing looking at transforming the way electronics manufacturing is done today. We’re looking for a Founding CTO/Tech Lead to own the tech vision , architect scalable systems, and build a world-class team. If you’ve built AI-native products before and want to lead tech at the ground floor of a startup , this is your shot. What You’ll Do Define Tech Strategy : Own the technical roadmap and align it with business and product goals. Architect the Platform : Design scalable, secure, and AI-first systems. Lead Core AI Development : Guide model research and productization in manufacturing, design automation, and supply chain optimization. Build & Lead the Team : Recruit, mentor, and scale a high-performing engineering + AI team. Implement Best Practices : Define and roll out SOPs, processes, and workflows to ensure speed without losing quality. Drive Execution : Balance rapid prototyping with scalable long-term architecture. Represent Tech Externally : Be the face of Finewerk.io’s tech to investors, partners, and talent. What We’re Looking For 5–10 years of engineering + leadership experience , with a track record of building and shipping AI-native products . Must have experience building app and web platforms , with AI/ML at the core . Strong expertise in backend/platform engineering, scalable cloud systems, and ML frameworks. Proven experience hiring, managing, and scaling large technology teams . Ability to define SOPs and engineering processes for scaling tech execution. Passion for solving manufacturing problems with AI . Most importantly you love the 0 to 1 journey Bonus points if you: Have experience with IoT and embedded systems . Have worked on AI in manufacturing or industrial tech . Have built integrations with CAD, ERP, PLM, or manufacturing datasets. Have prior startup or founding experience .
