As a Post-Production Renderer, your role involves transforming base 3D renders from tools like Lumion, Enscape, or SketchUp into visually compelling stories using Photoshop or similar software. You will be responsible for adding artistic elements such as light, shade, vegetation layers, texture, scale figures, and contextual effects to create emotional impact. Additionally, you will need to create visual storyboards to effectively communicate user journeys, spatial transitions, and landscape moods. Your tasks will also include enhancing visuals through hand-drawn techniques like sketching, line work, or mixed media overlays to bring a tactile, fine-art quality to digital images. You will be required to develop moodboards and visual narratives that support concept pitches by integrating elements of mythology, ecology, materiality, and place. Collaborating with the team, you will produce illustrated diagrams, layered conceptual sketches, and annotated vignettes to explain design intent. Your design collaboration skills will be vital as you play an integral part in the design process, focusing not only on how a project looks but also on how it feels. This will involve working closely with the team to craft innovative and visually appealing solutions.
