Ensure accurate and timely delivery of start-of-day positions by coordinating with the Chandigarh-based IT Production Support team. Perform quality checks on market data and valuations, including resolving discrepancies. Collaborate with the Operations, Engineering, and Product teams across geographies. Contribute to the optimization and automation of existing processes and propose continuous improvements. Develop familiarity with financial products such as swaptions, FX, bonds, indices, and portfolios. Preferred candidate profile 0-3 years of professional experience, ideally in financial services or IT support. Bachelors degree (or higher) in Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field. Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and analytical mindset. Proficiency in English communication (verbal and written). Responsibilities - 1) Analyse requirements and functionality from technical, architectural, and business perspectives. 2) Develop, execute, and oversee test plans, test cases, and overall testing strategies. 3) Identify testing risks and prioritize critical functionality. 4) Conduct manual testing for software functionality, data accuracy, and performance. 5) Perform regression testing to ensure stability of existing features after new code releases. 6) Validate the accuracy and integrity of financial data processed by asset management systems. 7) Ensure compliance of asset management software with regulatory and security standards. 8) Investigate, triage, and manage defects and Maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test cases, results, and knowledge base. 9) Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users. 10) Work proactively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Qualifications - 1) Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or related field, or equivalent practical experience. 2) Strong knowledge of test practices, methodologies, and delivery lifecycles. 3) Proven experience as a QA Analyst or Tester in the financial services industry (essential); fiduciary/asset management experience is desirable. 4) Hands-on experience with portfolio management software migrations (highly desirable). 5) Expertise in designing and executing test plans and test strategies. 6) Extensive use of Test Management and Defect Management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr preferred).
