Financial & Reg Reporting Specialist

Role Overview: As a Regulatory Reporting Specialist at Standard Chartered, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of regulatory reports while adhering to SLAs, operating instructions, and quality requirements. Your responsibilities will also involve providing insightful analysis on variances, handling queries, and offering adhoc support as needed. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure accurate and timely submission of all required local regulatory returns - Provide day-to-day delivery management to the team - Monitor operational efficiency, accuracy, and completeness of reports with appropriate KPIs - Establish robust governance and controls for the reporting process - Continuously strive for process optimization and leverage technology and automation tools - Build good working relationships with cross-functional/geographical teams Qualification Required: - Chartered Accountant (CA) / Cost Accountant (CWA) or its equivalent, MBA (Finance), MBA (Banking) or any Finance equivalent from an institute of Repute - Knowledge of accounting entries, financial statements, good communication skills - Understanding of the bank's products and services and fundamental understanding of Financial Statements & Balance Sheet Management - Specific technical skills such as MS Excel, knowledge of tools like SQL and Python will be beneficial About Standard Chartered: Standard Chartered is an international bank with a purpose to drive commerce and prosperity through unique diversity.
