Financial Controller - Head

The ideal candidate for this role will have 10 to 15 years of experience and hold a CA or MBA in Finance qualification. You will be based in Chennai and will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate recording of transactions, implementation of automation projects, and driving digital adoption within the organization. Additionally, you will interact with auditors, complete quarterly and annual accounts, and prepare reports for board reporting, ensuring statutory compliances under fiscal statutes. Your responsibilities will also include effective tax planning and management, managing funds to improve returns and working capital management, tracking budget vs actuals, implementing systems for account level P&L measurement for large clients, supporting business in pricing decisions and contract negotiations, as well as analyzing and benchmarking financial metrics against competition. Moreover, you will be involved in performance analysis, cost reduction, profit improvement initiatives, people development, and assessing M&A opportunities. It is essential that you have experience in SAP and exposure to various accounting functions. The candidate must come from an IT company with a strong commercial knowledge of accounting standards and fiscal laws.,
