Qualification & Experience:

• Qualification:

  B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.

• Experience:

  25 years of experience in Trade Finance operations in a manufacturing/export company or bank.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of

  LC, BG, UCP 600, ISBP

  , and other trade finance rules.
• Familiarity with

  banking operations, forex transactions, and documentation

  .
• Good communication and coordination skills with banks, suppliers, and logistics partners.
  
• Proficiency in

  MS Excel, ERP systems (SAP/Tally)

  , and reporting tools.
• Attention to detail and high accuracy in documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Letter of Credit (LC) Management

• Draft, review, and scrutinize LC terms (both import & export) to ensure compliance with contractual and UCP 600 guidelines.
  
• Coordinate with buyers, suppliers, and banks for LC opening, amendment, negotiation, and retirement.
  
• Ensure all supporting documents are accurate and complete for LC negotiation.

Bank Coordination

• Process import remittances, advance payments, and LC settlements as per RBI & FEMA guidelines.
  
• Coordinate with banks for issuance of BGs (Bank Guarantees), SBLCs, and other trade finance instruments.
  
• Manage foreign currency transactions and update forex position reports.

4. Compliance & Record Management

• Ensure compliance with FEMA, RBI, and internal company policies related to trade finance.
  
• Maintain proper records of all trade transactions, LC utilization, and bank correspondence.
  
• Assist in internal and statutory audits related to trade transactions.
  

5. MIS & Reporting

• Prepare periodic reports on trade finance exposure, bank limits utilization, and foreign exchange movement.
  
• Support treasury and finance teams in cash flow forecasting related to trade operations.
