Job Description: Accounts Intern

Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Intern to support our finance and accounting operations. The intern will work closely with the Founder and gain hands-on exposure to accounting, taxation basics, financial reporting, and ERP systems such as Tally, Zoho Books, SAP, and internal financial dashboards

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and manage invoices and client quotations accurately and on time.
• Maintain daily books of accounts, including sales, purchases, expenses, and journal entries.
• Handle cash flow tracking, bank entries, and bank reconciliation statements.
• Assist in bank management, payment follow-ups, and vendor/client coordination.
• Support preparation of basic financial reports and dashboards for management review.
• Work on accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, and exposure to ERP/SAP systems.
• Assist in documentation related to audits, taxation, and compliance as required.
• Maintain proper financial records and ensure data accuracy.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders when required.
• Travel within the city or outside when necessary for banking, documentation, or official work.

Education & Skills Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (mandatory).
• CA Final students or candidates doing articleship/internship in CA or tax firms preferred.
• Working knowledge of Excel, Tally, Zoho Books, or similar accounting tools.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Strong attention to detail, discipline, and willingness to learn.

Job Types: Full-time, Internship
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
