Final Quality Control Inspector

Job Description

We are looking for a Final Quality Inspector to check and approve the quality of finished castings before dispatch. The role requires experience in visual inspection, dimensional checking, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspection of CI and SG castings for surface defects, cracks, blow holes, etc.
• Conduct dimensional inspection using tools like Vernier, micrometer, and gauges
• Check castings as per drawing specifications and quality standards
• Prepare final inspection reports and mark OK / Not OK status
• Ensure that only approved parts go for dispatch or machining
• Report non-conformities and assist in rejection analysis
• Work closely with production and quality team to resolve issues
• Maintain inspection tools and follow safety and 5S practices
• Help during customer audits and third-party inspections

Qualifications & Skills

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or relevant field)
• 2–5 years of experience in quality inspection (foundry preferred)
• Good understanding of castings and machining drawings
• Able to use measuring instruments accurately
• Basic documentation and report writing skills
• Knowledge of NDT / hardness testing is an added advantage
• Must be detail-oriented, disciplined, and team-focused

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
