As a Transport Planner, your role will involve researching, analyzing, and forecasting travel demand and transport trends. You will be responsible for developing and appraising transport strategies, policies, and interventions. Additionally, you will examine the impact of transport infrastructure on urban/rural environments and prepare transport assessments, statements, and feasibility studies. Key Responsibilities: - Undertake traffic flow analysis, signal design, and junction modeling - Evaluate and optimize road safety and intersection performance - Prepare detailed engineering drawings and traffic management schemes - Review and develop traffic management plans for work zones and events Qualifications Required: - Education qualification- B.Tech. Civil, M. Tech. In transportation - 2-5 years of experience - Expertise in multi-modal transport planning studies with Variable Demand Modelling - Understanding of development and application of transport models, including operational models and economic appraisal - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Please note that this job also requires technical support tasks such as collecting, analyzing, and interpreting traffic and transport data, preparing technical reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders, and supporting multidisciplinary teams while interfacing with local authorities. Additionally, your role will involve contributing to project planning, delivery, and quality assurance, monitoring project progress, budgets, and deliverables, and collaborating with clients, colleagues, and stakeholder groups.,
