As a Tax Senior in the TTT FSO team at EY, you will be a part of EY's GDS Tax Technology team, whose mission is to develop, implement, and integrate technology solutions that cater to the needs of clients and engagement teams. In this role, you will have the chance to deepen your tax technical knowledge and enhance your database, data analytics, and programming skills. The role of a Tax Senior involves working on development related to Tax Center/Reporting IRC 6045 and providing support for Crypto reporting and regulations/CARF. The ideal candidate for this position will have expertise in Anaplan Senior and hands-on experience with Golang. Key Responsibilities: - Building/modifying services using Golang to meet critical product and business requirements. - Collaborating with engineers, designers, and product managers to translate product and technical vision into actionable plans. - Writing high-quality, thoroughly tested code to address customer needs and debug technical issues. - Reviewing feature designs within your product area and ensuring security, stability, and scalability of backend systems. Skills Required: - Strong passion for high-quality code and effective software engineering processes. - Ability to navigate through ambiguity and deliver results with an execution-focused mindset. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Experience with Golang, Docker, Rails, Postgres, MongoDB, or DynamoDB. - Previous work experience at a fast-paced, high-growth stage internet/software company.
