Field Service Engineer- Kolkata

As a Service Engineer at our company, your primary role will involve interacting with multiple technical systems and components, focusing on direct maintenance and repairs on complex technology systems. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: - Conducting regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of oil and gas equipment, such as fuel dispensers, at retail outstations like Petrol pumps, to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. - Diagnosing and troubleshooting complex technical issues that may arise during equipment operation, utilizing a deep understanding of specific systems and processes in our industry. - Assisting with the installation, configuration, and commissioning of new equipment (fuel dispensers and other types of equipment at retail outstations like Petrol pumps), ensuring compliance with specified guidelines and safety standards. - Providing technical support and guidance to clients or customers, addressing concerns, and offering solutions to enhance operational efficiency and safety. - Ensuring all work adheres to industry safety standards and regulations, identifying potential safety hazards to prevent accidents and promote a secure working environment. - Maintaining detailed records of service activities, including maintenance schedules, repairs, and modifications, and providing comprehensive reports to supervisors or management. - Attending training sessions or workshops to enhance understanding of equipment operations, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols. - Collaborating with team members to coordinate field operations, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely resolution of technical issues. - Following company policies and protocols related to quality control, health, safety, and environmental protection to maintain high operational standards. Qualifications required for this role include: - ITI/ DIPLOMA/ Btech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
