Overview The Business Analyst (BA) serves as the bridge between business stakeholders and the technical team. This role is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, translating them into functional specifications, and ensuring the successful delivery of solutions that meet business objectives. Key Responsibilities Requirements Gathering: Work with stakeholders, end users, and subject matter experts to understand business needs, workflows, and challenges. Documentation: Create clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation including business requirements documents (BRD), functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows. Analysis: Evaluate existing processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement, automation, and efficiency. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, QA, and product teams to ensure requirements are fully understood and implemented correctly. Communication: Act as the liaison between business units and technical teams, translating technical language into business terms and vice versa. Testing Support: Assist with UAT (User Acceptance Testing), validate functionality against requirements, and coordinate feedback resolution. Change Management: Support rollout of new processes or systems through training, documentation, and user engagement. Reporting: Develop and deliver insights or performance reports to measure success of implemented solutions. Qualifications Experience: 2–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related analytical role. Technical Skills: Proficiency with tools like Jira, Confluence Understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and user story creation. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Must be able to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing. Preferred Skills Experience with API integrations, process mapping tools (Lucidchart, Miro, Visio), or ERP/CRM systems. Background in software development projects or data-driven environments. Certification such as CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA nice to have.
