Job Title: Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) Experience: 3–5 years Work Timing: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM IST (end time may vary) Work Days: Monday to Friday Role Overview We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented SDET with 3–5 years of experience in manual testing and a strong understanding of development workflows. This role involves validating code changes, ensuring the stability of features, and contributing to high-quality releases through thorough testing and close collaboration with the development team. Key Responsibilities Conduct manual QA for new features and bug fixes Review pull requests (PRs) and validate code changes locally before release Perform functional and integration testing at the code level Make minor fixes directly in PRs to ensure a polished final result ("last mile" QA) Collaborate closely with developers to ensure feature stability and completeness Maintain and enforce high-quality standards across the product Provide timely, clear, and actionable feedback in both asynchronous and fast-paced environments Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams across engineering, product, and design (Optional, not a current priority) Contribute to test automation where relevant Tech Stack Backend: Python, Django Frontend: React, TypeScript What We’re Looking For Proven manual testing experience in a product or agile development environment Strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset Comfortable reading code and making small changes as needed Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and async-friendly work culture
