About Us At Fermions , we are building SAiGE , an AI-powered semiconductor design and verification platform that redefines how digital chips are designed. The semiconductor industry faces massive challenges in verification bottlenecks and time-to-market delays. Our mission is to solve these challenges using AI + modern software engineering . ML Engineer (with Full Stack Skills) We are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer who can not only build and fine-tune AI/ML models but also has the ability to integrate them into a production-ready full stack application . This is a part-time, remote role based in India , ideal for someone passionate about solving tough technical problems at the intersection of AI and semiconductors . Responsibilities Research, design, and implement AI/ML models (e.g., LLMs, transformers) for chip design automation. Develop pipelines to train, fine-tune, and deploy models. Collaborate with the founding team to integrate AI solutions into the SAiGE platform . Contribute to frontend + backend development (React/Node/Python stack) to bring AI features to life. Build scalable APIs and ensure smooth integration of ML modules into production. Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of deployed ML models. Required Skills Strong ML/AI background: Python (PyTorch / TensorFlow) NLP, LLMs, Transformers, LangChain (nice to have) Model training, fine-tuning, deployment (APIs, Docker, cloud). Solid Full Stack Development skills : Frontend: React.js / Angular / Vue.js Backend: Node.js / Django / Flask Databases: PostgreSQL / MongoDB Ability to build end-to-end systems , not just prototypes. Nice-to-Have Knowledge of EDA / semiconductor design workflows . Familiarity with Electron.js (desktop app development). Prior experience in a startup or research-driven project . Contributions to open-source projects . Who Should Apply? This role is best suited for: An ML Engineer who codes full stack and is excited to apply AI to real-world problems. Someone who has 3–6 years of experience in ML + software engineering OR a strong researcher with proven development experience.
