Job Title: CSR & Fundraising Manager Location: Sector 49, Gurugram Department: Corporate Social Responsibility / Fund Development / Partnerships Reports to: Director Job Summary: The CSR & Fundraising Manager is responsible for designing and executing strategies that support the organization’s social impact goals through corporate social responsibility programs and fundraising efforts. This role combines strategic CSR planning with active partnership development and fundraising campaigns, aiming to maximize resources for impactful community initiatives. Key Responsibilities: CSR Strategy & Execution: Design and manage CSR programs that align with the company’s mission, values, and sustainability objectives. Identify key areas for social investment (e.g., education, environment, health, skill development). Measure and report the social and environmental impact of CSR initiatives. Fundraising & Donor Engagement: Develop and implement fundraising strategies to secure funding from corporations, high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), foundations, and institutional donors. Identify and apply for grants, CSR contributions (especially under legal mandates like India’s CSR law), and sponsorship opportunities. Build and maintain relationships with donors and funding partners. Organize donor meetings, fundraising events, and campaigns. Maintain a donor database and track contribution history and engagement. Partnership & Stakeholder Management: Cultivate partnerships with NGOs, government agencies, and community organizations. Act as the primary liaison between the organization and its CSR/funding partners. Represent the organization at CSR and fundraising events, conferences, and public forums. Communication & Reporting: Create compelling proposals, donor reports, presentations, and marketing materials. Communicate program outcomes and fundraising progress to stakeholders. Ensure transparency and compliance with legal and ethical fundraising practices. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Marketing, Business, or related field. 5–8 years of experience in CSR, fundraising, donor relations, or nonprofit partnerships. Proven track record of securing CSR funding or donor grants. Strong proposal writing and grant management skills. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills. Preferred Skills: Experience with fundraising tools (e.g., Salesforce, Donorbox, GiveIndia). Knowledge of CSR law and donor compliance requirements. Understanding of impact metrics and reporting frameworks (e.g., SDGs, ESG, GRI). Event planning and public speaking experience.
