Job Description

The primary focus of your role as an AEM Frontend Developer (AEM FED) will involve developing user interface components and implementing them according to the established AEM frontend application development workflow. You will be engaged in projects from their inception to completion, ensuring they are both technologically robust and visually impressive. It is essential to guarantee that the components and the overall application are durable and easy to maintain. Collaboration with other team members working on various infrastructure layers is crucial, emphasizing the importance of collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and delivering a high-quality product. Your key responsibilities will include understanding business requirements and UX design, validating feasibility, and translating them into technical requirements. You should have a solid understanding of software development best practices, encompassing design patterns, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, continuous integration, and continuous delivery. You will be tasked with translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code, constructing reusable components for future use, optimizing components for maximum performance and responsiveness across a wide range of web-capable devices and browsers, ensuring high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency, and providing technical leadership and motivation to junior developers. In terms of technical experience, you should possess at least 5 years of experience in frontend application development using any JavaScript library/framework. It is imperative to have hands-on experience and a thorough understanding of JavaScript and its core principles. Proficiency in at least one of the JavaScript library/frameworks such as React JS, Vue JS, or Angular is essential. Additionally, familiarity with ECMAScript & Typescript, RESTful APIs, core web fundamentals (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript), RWD frameworks like Bootstrap and Material UI, CSS preprocessors like Sass or LESS, Adobe Experience Manager Workflows, testing frameworks like Jest/Mocha, and common front-end development tools like Babel, Webpack, Grunt, Gulp, NPM, etc., is required. Knowledge of package managers and the ability to resolve dependencies, experience in distributed code repositories like Git, as well as excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and strong problem-solving abilities are vital for this role. Your professional attributes should include good organizational skills, the ability to multitask and be proactive, self-motivation, results-driven approach, accountability, a focus on perfection with attention to detail, a willingness to learn new skills, and effective oral and written communication skills.,
