Department: Sales & Business Development Reporting To: Sales Manager Role Objective To generate business opportunities for Special Purpose Machines (SPMs), Vision Inspection Systems, and Customized Automation Solutions , by identifying client needs, preparing proposals, and providing technical application support to convert inquiries into successful projects. Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Identify and generate leads through industrial visits, networking, and inquiries . Develop and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, manufacturers, and existing clients . Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations . Negotiate and close sales deals in line with company policies. Application Engineering Understand customer requirements and propose feasible automation/SPM solutions . Work with design and project teams to prepare concept layouts, costing, and technical offers. Assist in proof of concept (POC), trials, and demonstrations for customer requirements. Customer Interaction Act as a technical and commercial bridge between clients and internal teams. Conduct pre-sales discussions, technical clarifications, and post-sales support . Coordinate for FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and support during installation/commissioning. Market Research & Reporting Keep track of market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies . Regularly update CRM/sales reports and provide inputs for business growth. Attend industry exhibitions, expos, and technical seminars for lead generation. Required Skills Strong understanding of automation, SPMs, and industrial machinery . Good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to read technical drawings and explain solutions to clients. Willingness to travel frequently for client visits and site surveys. Self-motivated with ability to work independently as well as in a team. Qualification & Experience Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Automation / Mechatronics. Experience: 1-3 years in Sales/Application of automation/machinery solutions. Freshers with strong technical background & interest in sales may also apply.
