FEA Engineer - Heavy Engineering

As an FEA Engineer in Heavy Engineering, you should have 4 to 8 years of experience and hold a BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech degree. Your expertise should lie in ANSYS Workbench, Ansys Classic, Nonlinear Analysis, Static Analysis, Dynamic Analysis, Composite Analysis, Rotor Analysis, Spaceclaim, Hand Calculations, Weld calculations, DesignModeler, and Finite Element Analysis. Your primary focus will be on industries such as Industrial, Heavy Industries, Construction Equipment, Oil & Gas, and Energy/Power sector, excluding Aerospace and Automotive domains. Your responsibilities will revolve around Simulation and Analysis, including structural, thermal, dynamic, and fatigue analysis using FEA tools. You will be required to develop and validate finite element models, conduct linear and nonlinear analysis, and perform crash, impact, and durability simulations based on industry needs. Additionally, you will be responsible for Model Preparation and Meshing by creating high-quality finite element meshes, simplifying complex geometries, and applying appropriate boundary conditions, loads, and constraints. Design Optimization will be a key aspect where you collaborate with design and product development teams to suggest material changes, thickness adjustments, and structural modifications for performance enhancement and cost reduction. Your role also entails Documentation and Reporting, where you will prepare detailed technical reports, present findings to stakeholders, and maintain FEA documentation for future reference and regulatory compliance. To excel in this position, you must be proficient in ANSYS Workbench and ANSYS Classic, possess strong communication skills, work independently, and adhere to quality standards. Having a background in ASME, API, EN, and BS standards is essential, and knowledge of HyperMesh and Abaqus is a plus. Your ability to parameterize models, develop macros, and effectively communicate design recommendations will be crucial in this Digital Product Engineering (H&I) role.,
