Faux Leather Goods Designer

Overview

We’re looking for a Product Designer who can take ideas from sketch to sample. You’ll play a key role in shaping our initial collection of faux leather accessories — think handbags, wallets, pouches, and beyond. This is a ground-floor opportunity to define not just products, but the visual language of a new brand.

What You’ll Do

• Design a cohesive range of faux leather products, from to
• Create mood boards, sketches, and CADs based on trend research and brand
• Select suitable materials, hardware, and finishes that complement each other.
• Collaborate with founders, suppliers, and manufacturers to bring designs to life
• Work with production to ensure prototypes meet brand standards
• Explore and experiment with surface treatments, embossing, stitching, and textures
• Assist in packaging and branding design to ensure continuity
• Keep up with trends, materials, and practices

Requirements

• 2–5 years of design experience (accessories, handbags, or related fields preferred)
• Strong showcasing of creative vision and technical execution
• Experience with faux leather materials, their behaviours, and techniques
• Proficiency in Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and/or 3D design
• Experience with packs and working with manufacturers or suppliers
• Strong eye for detail, colour, material, and texture
• Self-starter attitude — comfortable in an early-stage, fast-paced
• Bonus: Knowledge of certifications, ethical, or small-batch production

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
