Overview:- We are looking for a highly experienced and independent Freight Forwarding Manager who can take complete responsibility of our freight forwarding operations. The ideal candidate should be capable of managing the entire workflow without constant supervision, ensuring smooth coordination, timely execution, and excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities:- 1. Operations Management - Manage end-to-end freight forwarding activities: Air, Sea, and Land. - Handle import & export documentation, customs clearance process, and shipment coordination. - Monitor daily operations and ensure shipments move on time without follow-ups. - Coordinate with carriers, agents, and customs authorities independently. 2. Customer Service & Communication - Provide timely updates to customers and maintain strong relationships. - Handle customer queries professionally and resolve issues without escalation. 3. Pricing & Negotiation - Prepare quotations for customers and negotiate rates with airlines, shipping lines, transporters, and agents. - Ensure competitive pricing while maintaining profitability. 4. Team & Process Control - Supervise operational staff (if any) and distribute tasks efficiently. - Implement standard operating procedures for smooth workflow. - Reduce the need for management involvement by managing issues proactively. 5. Documentation & Compliance - Verify all shipment documents (BL, AWB, invoices, packing lists, clearance docs). - Ensure compliance with customs regulations, port rules, and industry standards. - Maintain accurate records and operational files. 6. Reporting - Prepare daily/weekly shipment status reports. - Highlight issues in advance and provide solutions independently. Skills & Requirements:- * Minimum 3–5 years experience in freight forwarding. * Strong knowledge of Air/Sea/Land freight, customs clearance, and logistics documentation. * Excellent communication skills (email, WhatsApp, customer handling). * Ability to work without supervision and handle pressure. * Rate negotiation skills and operational decision-making capability. * Basic computer skills (MS Office, Email, CRM/ERP preferred).
