Fashion Designers Specialist

As a Fashion Designer specializing in Crochet and Hand Made Products at Bartack Brands, your role will involve leading the design and development of crochet-based garments, accessories, toys, and home decor products. You will be responsible for translating handmade craft into commercially scalable and contemporary products. Your strong technical understanding of crochet stitches, patterning, sampling feasibility, and production readiness will be crucial as you work closely with artisans, sourcing teams, and e-commerce & marketing teams. Key Responsibilities: - Develop seasonal design collections. - Conduct research and create trend and mood boards, inspiration decks, and tech packs. - Plan fabric/yarn consumption, stitch structures, sizing, and fits. - Innovate with modern silhouettes, textures, color stories, and craft-based embellishments. - Collaborate closely with artisans/karigars to execute samples. - Finalize cost sheets, production-ready tech packs, and consumption details. Qualifications Required: - 5-10 years of experience as a Fashion Designer with a strong background in crochet construction and products. - Worked in craft-based, handmade, sustainable, premium fashion, home, decor categories. - Degree in Fashion or Textile Design from NIFT/Pearl/NID or similar. - Technical mastery of crochet stitches, patterning, garment construction, and measurement grading. - Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop, Excel, Canva, and trend research tools.
