As a Fashion Designer Trainer, your role involves training students in various aspects of fashion design, such as garment construction, pattern making, textile knowledge, fashion illustration, and computer-aided design (CAD). Your guidance should inspire creativity and assist students in developing the technical and artistic skills necessary for a successful fashion design career. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct theory and practical classes on fashion design concepts and techniques. - Teach subjects like garment construction, pattern making, draping, textile science, and fashion illustration. - Provide training in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CorelDRAW. - Guide students in developing design portfolios and final collections. - Keep students informed about current trends in the fashion industry. - Organize workshops, fashion shows, and project reviews. - Evaluate student performance and offer constructive feedback. - Maintain training materials, lesson plans, and student records. - Collaborate with the academic team to ensure quality training delivery. Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Fashion Design / Textile Design / Apparel Design or related field. - Minimum 25 years of industry or teaching experience in fashion design. - Strong knowledge of fashion design principles, fabrics, and garment construction. - Proficiency in fashion illustration and design software (Adobe Suite, CorelDRAW, CLO3D preferred). - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - Passion for teaching and mentoring creative talent. Salary Range: - 20,000 - 40,000 per month (depending on experience and qualifications) Preferred Qualities: - Creative mindset with attention to detail. - Up-to-date with latest fashion trends and technologies. - Ability to motivate and inspire students. - Strong portfolio showcasing design expertise.
