Fashion Designer

Position: Fashion Designer

Key Responsibilities:

• Create original clothing designs aligned with brand identity and market trends.

• Develop seasonal collections based on market research, trend analysis, and client requirements.

• Collaborate with the textile team to select fabrics, colors, prints, and trims.

• Prepare mood boards, sketches, and technical specifications for designs.

• Oversee sample development and fittings; work closely with pattern makers and production teams.

• Conduct competitor analysis and stay updated on global fashion trends.

• Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and fabric sourcing trips when required.

• Ensure designs meet production feasibility, costing, and quality standards.

• Coordinate with the marketing team to assist in campaigns, photo shoots, and catalog development.

• Manage multiple projects with tight deadlines while maintaining creativity and innovation.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor//'s degree in Fashion Design or a related field.

• Experience in fashion/textile design (freshers with a strong portfolio may also be considered).

• Proficient in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, etc.

• Strong drawing, sketching, and visualization skills.

• Good understanding of garment construction, textiles, and embellishments.

• Creative mindset with attention to detail.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
