Fashion Designer Intern

DA AFK Ventures is a forward-thinking E-commerce agency currently seeking a passionate and creative Fashion Designer Intern to join their team and gain valuable hands-on experience in the fashion industry. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the design and production teams, contributing to the development of collections, assisting in sample creation, and participating in research and mood board creation. This position offers a great opportunity to enhance your portfolio and gain exposure to the fashion industry. Key Responsibilities: - Designing and sketching concepts for upcoming collections. - Conducting trend research and creating mood/inspiration boards. - Assisting in the sourcing of fabrics, trims, and other materials. - Supporting the design team in developing tech packs and specifications. - Assisting during fittings, sample reviews, and coordination with vendors. - Maintaining organized design archives and assisting in inventory management as required. Requirements: - Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Fashion Design or a related field. - Basic knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, and textiles. - Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CorelDRAW is a plus. - Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset. - Passion for fashion, trends, and innovation.
