Farming Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Agricultural Expert in day-to-day field activities related to saffron farming and cold storage operations.
• Monitor and maintain the condition and functioning of cold storage for saffron.
• Coordinate with farmers, vendors, and local workers as per project needs.
• Handle documentation, record-keeping, and reporting of farming and storage activities.
• Support in procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
• Conduct local travel within Ludhiana and nearby areas as required for farm visits, procurement, or liaison work.
• Ensure hygiene, safety, and storage standards are maintained as per project guidelines.
• Assist during inspection visits, trials, and project reviews.

Requirements:

• Must be a local candidate from Ludhiana or nearby areas.
• Background in agriculture or farming-related projects is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of saffron farming or willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in rural/agricultural settings.
• Should be responsible, proactive, and able to handle physical farm tasks.
• Two-wheeler and valid driving license preferred for local travel.
