As a Quality Inspector with 2-5 years of experience, your role involves performing First Article Inspections according to AS9102 and customer-specific standards. You will be responsible for understanding and verifying product specifications from engineering drawings, 3D models, and work orders. Utilizing tools like DISCUS and Net-Inspect, you will create, manage, and submit FAI reports along with ballooned drawings. Your expertise in reading detailed drawings for piece parts, sub-assemblies, and top-level assemblies will be essential. Additionally, a strong understanding of Bill of Materials is required for this role. Using UG NX (Siemens NX) CAD software and Teamcenter, you will extract dimensional data and validate 3D CAD models when necessary. Documenting and compiling inspection reports for internal records and customer submission, as well as maintaining detailed inspection records for traceability of parts, materials, and processes, are key responsibilities.
