Faculty ( Interior Design Female)

Job Summary

The Faculty of Interior Design is responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or graduate students the principles, practices, and professional standards of interior design. The role involves delivering engaging instruction, mentoring students, developing curriculum, and contributing to academic and creative excellence within the department.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach courses in interior design, including design studios, theory, materials, lighting, space planning, and professional practice
• Prepare and deliver lectures, studio critiques, and practical demonstrations
• Develop course syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, and assessment tools
• Guide students in design projects, portfolios, and presentations
• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, sustainability practices, and design standards
• Participate in curriculum development and academic planning
• Contribute to departmental meetings, exhibitions, reviews, and academic events
• Mentor students on academic progress and career pathways
• Engage in research, creative practice, or professional development (as required)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design or a related field (PhD preferred for higher education institutions)
• Relevant teaching experience or strong professional design practice
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite)
• Strong communication, presentation, and mentoring skills
• Knowledge of building codes, materials, sustainability, and design ethics

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,566.53 - ₹25,000.00 per month
