Faculty - Fire and industrial safety

Job Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Faculty member to teach Fire and Industrial Safety courses. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject expertise, practical industry exposure, and the ability to deliver high-quality training to students pursuing careers in safety management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver classroom and practical training sessions in Fire Safety, Industrial Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, and related subjects.
• Prepare lesson plans, training materials, presentations, and relevant course content.
• Conduct practical demonstrations, mock drills, evacuation training, and safety equipment handling sessions.
• Assess students performance through assignments, tests, practical evaluations, and project work.
• Ensure safety standards are followed during practical training activities.
• Guide students in understanding industry requirements, safety protocols, and career opportunities.
• Maintain records of attendance, assessments, and academic progress.
• Coordinate with the academic team to update and improve course curriculum.
• Participate in workshops, seminars, and institute events as required.

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma/Degree in Fire & Safety Engineering / Industrial Safety / Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum 1–3 years of teaching or industry experience in fire and industrial safety.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of fire safety, industrial hazards, risk assessment, and emergency response.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to conduct practical sessions and safety drills.
• Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate students.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
