Faculty ( Fashion Design Female)

Job Summary

The Faculty of Fashion Design is responsible for delivering high-quality education in fashion design, nurturing students’ creativity, technical skills, and professional readiness. The role involves teaching, mentoring, curriculum development, and contributing to the academic and creative growth of the department.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach fashion design courses, including design studios, fashion illustration, pattern making, garment construction, textiles, and fashion theory
• Prepare and deliver lectures, studio sessions, demonstrations, and critiques
• Develop and update course syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, and assessments
• Guide students in design development, collections, portfolios, and presentations
• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback
• Supervise student projects, exhibitions, fashion shows, and internships
• Stay updated with current fashion trends, technologies, and industry practices
• Integrate sustainability, innovation, and ethical practices into teaching
• Participate in curriculum development and academic planning
• Contribute to departmental meetings, reviews, and academic events
• Engage in research, creative practice, or professional development as required

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field (PhD preferred for university-level roles)
• Relevant teaching experience and/or professional experience in the fashion industry
• Strong knowledge of design processes, textiles, garment construction, and fashion history
• Proficiency in design and fashion software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD for fashion)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,653.01 - ₹25,000.00 per month
