3.9.3 Education Higher National Diploma (3years) in Mechanical
Engineering.
3.9.4 Experience Ten (10) years minimum experience in pipe, pressure vessel and steel structure fabrication and supervision as per given drawings in Refining /Petrochemical environment.
Fully computer literate with Microsoft office and others.
Fluent in English reading, speaking and writing.
3.9.5 Age limit Not over the age of Fifty-three (53) years.
3.9.1 Primary Purpose of the SERVICES
- Read, understand and prepare the material list and resources as per the engineering constructional isometric drawings of steel structure, piping, steel, storage tanks and pressure vessels and to follow accordingly the fabrication works either in workshop or on site.
- Read and understand the fabrication standards, welding symbols, conditions and requirements according to codes and standards.
- Distribute manpower, prepare site for work, follow up welding and NDT requirements, file and report the work progress.
-Understand and use of machine tools such as drills, grinders and the like as well as fabrication and welding equipment.
Interpreted radiographs of welding joints.
3.9.2 Summary of Major Duties and Responsibilities
Distribute manpower, prepare site for work, follow up fabrication, welding and NDT requirements, check welding conditions and prepare the material list. Also, he should report and file the work progress, prepare activity list and time estimation, and use the computer. The individual should know how to use drills, hand grinders and hot taping machines. He should read and conversant with Engineering drawings, P&ID and Isometrics.
