Job Title: Fabricator Fitter Heavy Engineering (6+ Years Experience) Location: Savli, Vadodara Industry: Heavy Engineering / Fabrication / Manufacturing Experience: 6+ Years Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Fabricator Fitter to join our heavy engineering manufacturing team at our Savli facility in Vadodara. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in structural fabrication and fitting for large-scale industrial equipment and components. Key Responsibilities: Perform fabrication and fitting of heavy engineering structures, equipment, and assemblies as per engineering drawings. Operate and maintain tools such as grinders, gas cutters, hydraulic presses, and welding machines. Ensure dimensional accuracy and proper alignment using measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, measuring tapes, and levels. Read and interpret engineering blueprints, fabrication drawings, and welding symbols. Work with structural steel, plates, channels, and beams for fabrication activities. Coordinate with welders and machinists to complete assemblies. Follow safety standards and maintain cleanliness in the work area. Assist in rigging and handling of heavy components. Inspect finished components for quality and accuracy. Requirements: ITI in Fitter / Fabrication / Mechanical Trade. Minimum 6 years of experience in fabrication and fitting in a heavy engineering setup. Strong ability to read engineering and fabrication drawings. Skilled in using hand tools, cutting, and fitting equipment. Experience in fabrication of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, large industrial structures, or similar equipment preferred. Physically fit and able to work with heavy materials. Willingness to work in shifts if required.
