As a Quality Specialist at Konecranes, you will be an integral part of our Quality team, focusing on the manufacturing and service industry. Your main responsibilities will include overseeing Inbound & Supplier quality processes and managing Non-Conformities (NC). Your duties will involve: - Inspecting incoming components and conducting inspections at vendor sites. - Verifying vendor inspection documents and certificates. - Witnessing NDT tests at vendor locations and verifying test certificates. - Developing Quality Assurance Plans (QAP). - Analyzing rejections, rating vendors, and communicating with them effectively. - Managing Quality Management Information System (MIS). - Handling material inward and transfer in SAP, including goods receipt. - Managing Non-Conformities (NC). - Addressing customer warranty issues. To excel in this role, we are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications: - A degree/diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent. - 2-4 years of experience in QA/QC/SQA. - Knowledge of various parts such as forged, machined, casted, and fabricated, along with inspection methodologies. - Understanding of Heat Treatment processes and Metallurgical properties of steel. - Familiarity with manufacturing processes and identification of failure modes. - Ability to interpret Mechanical drawings and Electric circuit diagrams. - Experience in preparing QAP/CP. - Proficiency in root cause analysis. - Familiarity with NDT techniques like UT, LPT, RT interpretation, and verification of Test certificates. - Knowledge of electrical components. - Proficiency in SAP. - Ability to lead a small team. - Experience in the crane industry is preferred but not mandatory. - Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 standards.
