Faade & Steel BIM Automation Specialist

As a Facade/Steel BIM Automation Specialist at our company, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining automation tools. Your role will involve collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors to identify automation needs and develop solutions. You will design, implement, and test automation scripts and plugins for BIM software, staying up to date with industry trends and best practices in BIM automation. Additionally, you will work with other team members to ensure consistent and efficient workflows, provide training and support on automation tools and processes, and contribute to the overall success of the team. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain automation tools for facade and steel detailing using Rhino and Tekla, respectively, and automate the process using Grasshopper - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation needs and develop solutions - Design, implement, and test automation scripts and plugins for BIM software - Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in BIM automation - Provide training and support to team members on automation tools and processes Qualifications Required: - 2-4 years of experience in Rhino/Tekla and Grasshopper development - Diploma or Bachelors in Engineering - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Strong communication and collaboration skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities - Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders - Knowledge of construction documents and project delivery processes is a plus Please note that the salary discussed during hiring is indicative and offers are based on qualifications, experience, skills, and education aligned with position requirements, internal factors, and market standards.
