You are a highly organized and detail-oriented Canadian Accounting and Year-End Preparer who will be a valuable addition to our team in the finance department. Your main responsibility will involve preparing and reviewing year-end tax filings, financial statements, and other accounting-related tasks for our Canadian clients. Your expertise in Canadian tax laws, accounting principles, and experience with year-end reporting processes will be crucial for this role. Your responsibilities will include reconciliations, utilizing MS Excel and Quickbooks, preparing year-end financial statements, and related reports for Canadian clients. You will also assist in the preparation of corporate tax returns such as T2 filings, GST/HST returns, and other necessary filings. Ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions, balancing accounts, and making year-end adjustments will be part of your routine tasks. Collaborating with external auditors, assisting in audit processes as needed, and maintaining compliance with Canadian tax regulations, including timely filing of tax forms, are essential aspects of this role. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing and organizing working papers and supporting documentation for audits and tax filings. Providing assistance to clients regarding inquiries related to year-end tax matters and accounting questions is also part of your responsibilities. Your qualifications should include a B.Com/M.Com/CA Inter degree along with in-depth knowledge of accounting standards, regulations, and bookkeeping. This is a full-time position based in Mohali, with the salary ranging from 20,000 to 30,000 per month. The work schedule is during the day shift from Monday to Saturday, with the first two Saturdays off.
