Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS, High-Scale Systems) Location: Surat / Onsite Experience: 4+ years in DevOps / Cloud Engineering Type: Full-time About the Role Were building a real-time, high-scale platform and are looking for a DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage a robust AWS-based infrastructure. You'll ensure our systems are highly available, secure, cost-optimized, and scalable to support millions of daily transactions. Responsibilities Design and manage AWS cloud infrastructure (EKS/ECS, MongoDB, VPC, ALB/NLB, ElastiCache, etc.). Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform / AWS CDK / CloudFormation. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for zero-downtime deployments (Blue/Green, Canary). Ensure system observability with CloudWatch, ELK/Opensearch, Prometheus, Grafana, and distributed tracing. Manage real-time messaging and streaming platforms (Kafka, Socket.io). Implement scaling strategies (auto-scaling, caching layers, multi-region setup). Enforce security best practices: IAM policies, WAF, Secrets Manager, TLS, audit logging. Support disaster recovery with backups, snapshots, and multi-region failover. Collaborate closely with backend, data, and mobile teams to optimize performance. Requirements 4+ years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering. Strong expertise with AWS services (EKS/ECS, MongoDB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.). Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation). Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins). Experience with monitoring & logging stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch). Familiarity with real-time data pipelines (Kafka, Socket.io, Redis). Experience with MongoDB administration and MongoDB sharding. Database and API security measures. Strong understanding of networking, load balancing, and security. Scripting skills in Python / Bash / Go. Good knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes / ECS Fargate). Nice to Have Experience with geospatial data systems (Redis GEO, H3/S2). Exposure to chaos engineering / resilience testing. Knowledge of multi-region, active-active architectures. Experience in cost optimization in cloud-native environments.
