Export Executive(Apparel)

Export Documentation & Compliance

Prepare and maintain export documentation including proforma invoices, commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, shipping bills, etc.

Ensure compliance with DGFT, Customs, GST, and Export Promotion Council (EPC) regulations.

Coordinate for BRCs, FIRC, AD codes, and LUTs as required.

Logistics & Shipping Coordination

Coordinate with freight forwarders, transporters, and courier services for pickup and shipment.

Handle booking of sea/air cargo, monitor tracking, and follow up for on-time delivery.

Liaise with buyers, shipping lines, and customs clearance agents.

Packaging & Dispatch

Supervise packaging and labeling as per international standards and buyer specifications.

Ensure correct marking, barcoding, and tagging on shipments.

Work with the warehouse team to ensure accurate dispatch of goods.

Payments & Government Incentives

Coordinate with accounts for export payments, bank documentation, and reconciliation.

Apply for government incentives such as Duty Drawback, MEIS, RoDTEP, etc.

Track shipment-wise payments and follow up for overdue collections.

MIS & Reporting

Maintain shipment trackers, export registers, and daily MIS reports.

Share regular export order status updates with the General Manager and Sales/Production teams.

Track and analyze key KPIs including dispatch timelines, freight costs, and documentation accuracy.

Key Skills & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, International Trade, Logistics, or related field.

Strong knowledge of export procedures, incoterms, and shipping documentation.

Familiarity with DGFT portal, ICEGATE, and EPC documentation preferred.

Good understanding of logistics operations, HS codes, and international packaging norms.

Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and professional email communication.

Excellent coordination, problem-solving, and attention to detail.

Ability to handle multiple shipments under strict deadlines.
