Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Expo Developer with strong expertise in React Native, Expo Framework, and modern mobile development practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building high-quality cross-platform mobile applications, optimizing performance, integrating APIs, and deploying apps to the iOS and Android app stores.
Develop, test, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Expo (Managed/ Bare Workflow).
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to build pixel-perfect, responsive user interfaces.
Integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL, Firebase, and third-party SDKs.
Implement state management using Redux, Zustand, MobX, or React Context.
Optimize app performance, memory usage, and load times.
Work with push notifications, deep linking, and app permissions in Expo.
Debug and resolve issues across iOS and Android platforms.
Manage build and deployment processes using Expo Application Services (EAS).
Ensure code quality using best practices, code reviews, and documentation.
Collaborate with backend teams, QA, and product managers to deliver project goals.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
2–5 years of experience in mobile app development with React Native & Expo.
Strong understanding of:
JavaScript (ES6+)
React concepts & hooks
Expo SDK & libraries
Expo EAS Build & Submit
iOS and Android mobile UI guidelines
Experience with modern tools:
Git, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket
Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Messaging)
API integration using Axios / Fetch
App optimization and debugging tools
Experience with TypeScript.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps.
