Description
Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and qualified Head Teacher to lead our preschool and daycare programs. The Head Teacher will be responsible for the overall educational and operational success of the classroom, including curriculum planning, teacher mentorship, compliance with early childhood regulations, and fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 6 months to 6 years. Key Responsibilities:Curriculum & Instruction: Design, implement, and evaluate developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with early learning standards. Foster a child-centered environment promoting exploration, creativity, and social-emotional growth. Ensure lesson plans meet the individual needs of all children. Leadership & Team Management: Supervise and support assistant teachers, caregivers, and aides. Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to teaching staff. Conduct regular team meetings to promote collaboration and continuous improvement. Child Safety & Wellbeing: Ensure a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment. Monitor children’s development and maintain accurate records. Implement behavior management strategies that are age-appropriate and positive. Parent Engagement: Communicate regularly with parents regarding child development, milestones, and concerns. Organize parent-teacher conferences and workshops. Foster a welcoming, inclusive relationship with families. Administrative Duties: Maintain compliance with all licensing and accreditation standards. Assist with enrollment, scheduling, and staff rostering. Support the Director in audits, inspections, and quality improvement plans.
