Expert Software Engineer (Cache/Mumps)

As a Software Engineer/Sr Software Engineer/Expert Software Engineer at Altera, a member of the N. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies such as Primary Ensemble (aka InterSystems IRIS for Health) and InterSystems HealthShare to drive a new era of healthcare innovation. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and develop solutions using InterSystems stack of technologies including Primary Ensemble and InterSystems HealthShare - Attend scrum meetings and other meetings defined by the manager - Collaborate with business stakeholders for requirement gathering - Articulate design methodology and best practices - Develop end-to-end solutions, participate in code reviews, unit testing, and deployment - Document technical design and functionality - Provide support during testing and participate in go-live meetings - Participate in after-hours on-call support on a rotational calendar basis - Learn, design, and develop solutions using InterSystems HealthShare **Qualifications Required:** - 3-8 years" experience as a Software Engineer, preferably in the healthcare setting - Experience with Ensemble, custom components development, HL7 interfaces, SQL Adapter, Custom DTLs - Proficiency in Cache Objects and Cache Object Script - Design and development experience with REST/SOAP API development - Experience in scalable and secure cloud solution design and development using best practices - Proficiency in XML/XSLT and HL7v2 - Familiarity with CCD/CDA **Good to have Experience:** - Knowledge of HL7 FHIR - Understanding of InterSystems HealthShare/UCR with SDA structure - SQL concepts with Intersystems Cache/IRIS - Experience with Health Insight/Active Analytics, HealthShare Patient Index, HealthShare Provider Directory - Experience working in dynamic teams using agile methodologies - Cloud experience with CosmosDB, BLOB storage, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, ARM Template, Service Bus, Google BigQuery, Google Workflow - Familiarity with other programming languages like C#, Python, JavaScript or JavaScript Frameworks As part of the Altera team, you may be required to provide after-hours on-call support as needed.
