We need an expert senior full stack MERN engineer to join our team.

To be qualified as a expert level developer, you will need proven experience writing high quality, optimized code.

Interviews

Up to three interviews may be conducted:

1. A screening interview to review your resume
2. An on-camera technical interview where you will demonstrate your coding skills for FE and BE skills.
3. If you pass the technical interview (most don't pass), we will schedule a personal interview (non-technical) to determine whether you would be a culture fit on our team.

Tech stack

Structure: Micro-service architecture

Front end: ReactJS.

Back end services: Typescript, using frameworks such as Koa, Express, Typegoose, etc.

Our services communicate with each other through gRPC protocol from within the cluster.

Storage layer: MySQL & MongoDB

Development tools: JIRA, Github, Slack.

Skills & Requirements

Demonstrated expertise with MERN stack

Proven experience as an efficient, expert engineer

Able to create architectural patterns for a large, scalable web application

Experience with GraphQL

Experience with gRPC protocol

Experience with MySQL/RDS

Experience with Github

Experience with JIRA & AWS

Experience writing Unit Tests for your work (We use Jest)

Experience using AI tools to complete work

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools

Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and a strong interest in developing AI-driven features

Responsibilities/Requirements

Attend daily stand-up meetings on Zoom at 9:00A IST.

Collaborate with our existing team in India (IST daytime), share knowledge and experience, conduct code reviews and architecture reviews, enforce software engineering best practices

Write well-documented code and follow best practices

Write unit tests for your work product

Be available full-time during IST daytime hours

This position is for a full-time independent contractor.

The monthly salary will be equivalent to an hourly rate between $18 to $28/hour net to the successful candidate, determined based on skills, experience, a successful technical interview and background check.
