Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse with experience in the Dialysis Department to join our healthcare team. The nurse will be responsible for assisting in the treatment of patients with kidney disease or kidney failure, providing direct nursing care before, during, and after dialysis procedures. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in dialysis, excellent clinical skills, and a patient-centered approach to care.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and operate dialysis machines and equipment according to protocol.

Assess patients’ condition before, during, and after dialysis treatment.

Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to any complications during dialysis.

Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate records.

Educate patients and their families about dialysis procedures, post-treatment care, and lifestyle adjustments.

Ensure infection control practices are strictly followed.

Collaborate with nephrologists, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, observations, and interventions.

Assist in emergency situations with appropriate interventions.

Ensure cleanliness and safety in the dialysis unit.

Qualifications & Skills:

Registered Nurse with B.Sc Nursing or GNM qualification.

Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in a dialysis unit.

Strong understanding of dialysis procedures and equipment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a team and handle high-pressure situations.

Compassionate and committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

Basic computer literacy for documentation and reporting.
