Experienced Engineer-Fuel System

Role Overview: You will be working as an Experienced Engineer in the area of CSETA Technology, focusing on designing Fuel Systems for various Volvo truck brands. Your main responsibilities will include designing Fuel System components, collaborating with suppliers, establishing a strong network with global counterparts, and participating in global projects. Key Responsibilities: - Design Fuel System components such as Fuel tank, Mountings, Fuel Routing, Installation, Storage, level sensor, etc. for Diesel, CNG, LNG, Bio-Diesel fuels - Knowledge of product design & development cycle from concept to launch - Design complex brackets using Sheet metal and Casting techniques - Understand Digital Validation reports like CAE-Durability, CFD - Work closely with suppliers for component development - Establish a strong network with Global Counterparts and Cross functions - Strategize additional responsibilities and participation in Global Projects - Handle frequent topics with Global XFs and Suppliers worldwide - Contribute to Advanced engineering, Product Strategy Roadmap, and KM topics Qualifications Required: - B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering with 4-8 years of relevant experience - Hands-on work experience with fuel systems (Diesel, CNG, LNG, Biodiesel) - Experience in product design & development including sheet metals, Casting, PA lines - Experience in the heavy commercial vehicle industry is an added advantage - Good knowledge of GD&T and 3D Tools like Creo - Exposure to Volvo Tools and Processes (KOLA/PDM) is an added advantage - Understanding of Chassis Equipments packaging, routing & development - Knowledge of Agile way of working is an added advantage Additional Details: Working at Volvo Group will offer you the opportunity to collaborate with talented individuals in shaping sustainable transportation solutions.
