Job Summary: We are seeking dynamic and knowledgeable Utility Engineers (Executive / Sr. Executive level) to manage the operations and maintenance of utility systems at our API manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in utility equipment such as chilling plants, cooling towers, air compressors, nitrogen plants , and a sound understanding of GMP documentation and compliance . Key Responsibilities: Operate and maintain utility equipment including: Cooling towers Chilling plants Brine plants Air compressors Nitrogen plants Condensers and brine compressors Ensure proper cleaning, descaling, and maintenance of utility systems like chillers and condensers. Monitor and maintain water levels and water quality parameters in cooling systems. Maintain GMP-compliant logbooks , checklists, and utility operation records as per standard procedures. Lead or support a team of technicians/operators in daily operations of the utility block. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to utility equipment breakdowns. Ensure adherence to safety protocols , SOPs , and regulatory norms . Participate in audits and provide required utility documentation and support. Required Skills: Technical knowledge in utility operations and preventive maintenance. Experience in handling air compressors, chilling plants, nitrogen plants , and cooling towers . Basic knowledge of GMP , SOPs , and pharma utility documentation . Ability to lead a team (for Sr. Executive level) and coordinate with cross-functional departments. Problem-solving attitude with attention to safety and compliance. Preferred Industry Experience: Pharmaceutical API Manufacturing (mandatory) Exposure to regulatory audits is an added advantage.
