Job Description

As the Head of User Acceptance Testing at Morgan Stanley India, you will lead and manage a large team of UAT testers and Test Leads across different Platforms Areas. Your team will be responsible for executing UAT for global Wealth Management platforms from India, serving financial advisors, branch managers, support professionals, and clients. Your accountability will involve testing a portfolio of strategic, tactical, and risk development work exceeding $500M. You will act as an escalation point for both the team and US-based Platforms partners, ensuring fungibility within the testing team and managing shifts and knowledge transfer based on changing priorities. Your key responsibilities will include: - Establishing consistent practices and definitions for testing and test documentation - Focus on Strategy & Planning, Execution & Coordination, Stakeholder communication, Sign-offs & Risk Management You will work closely with leads in various silos to establish UAT strategy, participate in fleet planning and testing engagement, and collaborate with Technology QA Testing Leadership for efficient Division of Labor. Additionally, you will identify and drive process improvements, enhance efficiencies, and foster a culture of excellence aiming for zero production defects. As the Head of UAT, India, you will be responsible for: - Establishing and managing a large organization of testers and test leads - Investing in top talent, onboarding and training new resources - Promoting individual growth and development within the UAT team - Collaborating effectively across different groups, managing competing demands, and identifying dependencies The ideal candidate for this role should have: - A minimum Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, technology, or a related field - At least 15 years of relevant QA/UAT experience and 5+ years of people management experience - Strong knowledge of UAT and software testing methodologies, Agile practices, and Test Management Tools - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and analytical skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools - Experience in Automation testing is a plus Morgan Stanley is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment where individuals can maximize their potential.
