NKP Pharma is looking for EXECUTIVE / ASSISTANT MANAGER (SALES) to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey.
The Assistant Manager - Purchase is responsible for supporting the procurement and purchasing activities of an organization. This role involves working closely with the procurement team and other departments to ensure timely and cost - effective procurement of goods and services. The Assistant Manager - Purchase assists in vendor management, negotiation, contract management, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities : Assist in the development and implementation of procurement strategies and policies. Support the procurement team in sourcing, evaluating, and selecting suppliers/vendors. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs and requirements. Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and maintain a vendor database. Assist in negotiating favorable terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers/vendors. Monitor and track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Resolve any procurement - related issues or discrepancies with suppliers/vendors. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other procurement - related information. Assist in evaluating supplier performance and provide feedback for improvement. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and new procurement practices. Assist in the development and implementation of cost - saving initiatives. Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate and timely payment to vendors. Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards. Provide support in the preparation of procurement reports and analysis. Qualifications and Skills : Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field. Proven experience in procurement or purchasing roles, preferably in a managerial capacity. Sound knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and techniques. Familiarity with sourcing and supplier evaluation processes. Strong negotiation and contract management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and strong analytical abilities. Proficient in using procurement software and tools. Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong problem - solving and decision - making skills. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
