The assignments under the Excelher program are for a tenure of 9 months and offer exciting work opportunities in the transportation industry. As an experienced Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in Automotive/Locomotive/Aerospace industries or Tier 1 Suppliers, you will be responsible for concept creation for Advanced Engineering in the Interior SIPD area, specifically focusing on seats and controls. Your role will involve conceptual thinking, working with suppliers and multiple stakeholders, and utilizing knowledge on advanced materials and manufacturing methods. To excel in this role, proficiency in designing Plastic/Sheetmetal parts using CATIA V5 is a must. You will be expected to work on part modeling, surfacing, assembly, drawing, and detailing, as well as demonstrating proficiency in documentation and release processes. Additionally, knowledge of Plastic/Sheetmetal part manufacturing processes, tooling, and material selection based on applications will be beneficial. As a Mechanical Engineer, you should possess relevant working experience, excellent communication skills, and stakeholder management skills.
