Key Responsibilities: Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and data center networks. Manage network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, wireless controllers, etc.). Implement and monitor network security measures (firewalls, IDS/IPS, ACLs, VPNs). Ensure network performance, availability, and scalability through proactive monitoring and tuning. Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, ensuring minimal downtime. Work with vendors and ISPs to manage network services and escalations. Document network designs, standards, and configurations. Lead network upgrade and migration projects. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers. Stay updated with new networking technologies and recommend improvements. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 5–8+ years of experience in network engineering or administration. Strong knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or equivalent networking platforms. Expertise in routing (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), switching (VLANs, STP), and wireless technologies. Experience with firewalls, load balancers, and network security protocols. Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) is an advantage. Proficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (SolarWinds, Wireshark, Nagios, etc.). Relevant certifications preferred: CCNP/CCIE, JNCIP, PCNSE, or equivalent. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
