As the main vendor for Manipal Hospital, prestigious colleges, corporates, and luxury weddings, our in-house production team manages stages, sound, lighting, tents, and more.

We are looking for a Sound & Light Technician to join our production team and deliver exceptional event experiences.

Role Overview

The Sound & Light Technician will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining sound, lighting, and related technical equipment for weddings, corporate events, parties, and live shows. The role requires technical expertise, creativity, and the ability to work under pressure in dynamic event environments.

Key Responsibilities

Setup & Operation

• Install and configure sound systems (mixers, microphones, speakers, monitors, amps).
• Set up lighting rigs, stage lighting, decorative lighting, and special effects.
• Ensure all equipment is tested and ready before events.
• Event Execution
• Operate sound and lighting equipment during live events to ensure seamless performance.
• Adjust levels, cues, and effects in real-time as per event requirements.
• Work closely with event managers, DJs, and performers.
• Maintenance & Safety
• Regularly maintain and troubleshoot sound and light equipment.
• Ensure compliance with electrical and safety standards.
• Manage inventory of equipment and report damages/repairs.
• Collaboration
• Coordinate with decorators, stage crew, and production team.
• Support quick setups and tear-downs within event timelines.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sound/Lighting Technician in events, concerts, or theater.
• Strong knowledge of audio systems, mixers, DMX lighting, controllers, LED walls, and stage rigs.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly under pressure.
• Physically fit to handle heavy equipment and long working hours.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel for outstation events.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma/Certification in Sound Engineering, Audiovisual Technology, or Event Production.
• Experience with live sound mixing and lighting design.
• Familiarity with wedding and corporate event production setups.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
